Billboards America – Modern Slavery Policy
1. Purpose
This policy affirms Billboards America’s commitment to identifying, preventing, and addressing modern slavery and human trafficking risks across our business operations and supply chains. We recognise that as a provider of outdoor advertising, our responsibilities extend beyond our direct operations to the labour and sourcing practices of our contractors, suppliers, and partners.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All directors, employees, and officers of Billboards America.
- Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers engaged in billboard construction, installation, printing, maintenance, logistics, and related services.
- All operations in the United States and international supply chains.
3. Our Commitment
Billboards America adopts a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to:
- Complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and equivalent international standards where relevant.
- Upholding fair and safe working conditions in our operations and supply chains.
- Partnering only with suppliers and contractors who share our values and demonstrate compliance with ethical labour practices.
4. Responsibilities
- Board of Directors: Provide governance and oversight of compliance with this policy.
- Management: Ensure procurement and operational practices incorporate modern slavery risk assessments.
- Employees: Adhere to this policy and report suspected risks or breaches.
- Suppliers and Contractors: Must comply with this policy and ensure their own supply chains are free from modern slavery.
5. Identifying Risks
In our sector, potential risks include:
- Use of subcontracted labour in billboard construction and maintenance.
- Printing, fabrication, or component supply sourced from regions with weaker labour protections.
- Transport and logistics providers employing vulnerable or exploited workers.
6. Risk Management & Due Diligence
Billboards America will:
- Conduct due diligence on new suppliers and contractors, including risk assessments of their labour practices.
- Include contractual obligations requiring compliance with modern slavery laws.
- Monitor supplier performance and require corrective action where risks are identified.
- Cease relationships with suppliers unwilling or unable to meet these standards.
7. Reporting & Whistleblowing
We encourage employees, contractors, and third parties to raise concerns about potential modern slavery risks.

8. Remediation

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Board to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and aligned with evolving best practices and legal requirements.
